Who Would be My Co-Travellers?
Your co-travellers can be any individual, right from a professional C.A or Doctor to a teacher, a teenager, an artist, a politician, businessman, people of any religion, from any region, any language etc. When you return from your dream holiday, we assure you that there will be additions to your friends list.
What is Generally the size of a Tour Group?
Generally the Number of Guest Travelling Varies Depending on the Destination. The Average Group size for tour is Between 15 to 20.
Are bookings Accepted Online?
No. But you can Book the Tour by Registering on our website by accepting Terms & Conditions mentioned for booking then you can make payment by bank Transfer, Net banking, NEFT, IMPS, Cash/Cheque Deposit etc. When we will receive the payment, we will mail you booking confirmation on registered your Email ID.
Will it be possible to extend my stay at a destination?
Yes, you can extend your stay but additional charges will be applicable which are depends on availability at that time. No extensions/alterations can be done when the tour is in progress.
Is the tour itinerary susceptible to last minute changes, as we need to plan our leaves & make necessary arrangements accordingly?
We do not change the itinerary or date of the tour, however in case of force majeure events; circumstances force us to change the routing or date of the tour, as the case may be, just for your safety.
Can I incorporate any changes in my travel plan once the booking is done?
Yes, you can modify your booking or travel plan. There may be certain charges for modifications or for cancellationof the old booking and making new arrangements. The travel consultants at our offices will assist you for the same.
Is there any refund against cancellation?
Cancellation of tour will attract certain cancellation charges. For Cancellation charges you can refer terms & conditions given on website before booking. The travel consultant will give you the details about such cancellation at the time of booking or for more information on cancellation charges.
How do I pay?
Payments are accepted either by cash or cheque or by Bank transfers. (Please go through our standard Terms & Conditions for more details.)
Can I change my reservation (Date / Time / Place of Boarding)?
You can always change your reservation with prior notice of 72 hours. (Terms & Conditions apply.)
What happens in case of a single guest?
Option 1: Single Room Occupancy *(subject to single occupancy charges applicable to the Guest)
Option 2: Room sharing with mutual consent between single travelers
What Is the tour Itinerary subject to last minute changes?

What are the holiday package components?

How can I stay in touch with my family and friends on a World tour ?
While on tour, you can be in touch with your family and friends through a local calling card or local sim card as you may deem fit and desirable. You have to carry your mobile handset. We are not responsible for any charges levied by the international local authorities neither shall be responsible for loss of your mobile handset.
Can I get medicine on a World tour?
We highly recommend you to carry sufficient medicines along with you on tour. While packing, distribute them evenly in different bags to ensure that you have some medicine with you incase there is any delay in getting baggage or loss. However you do get medicines on tour but your doctors prescription for the same is a must.
What meals are included on the tour?
For Domestic its mostly breakfast and dinner.
For International it is breakfast.
The person gets to travel as per his travel plan, dates, destinations etc.
Is there any restrictions on the number of people traveling?
No, there is no restriction on the number of people traveling.
How can I book such a tour?

Are your training programmes only at your camp?
Not at all.Traveller Birds also organises on-site training programmes for clients and external training programmes at other locations as per client request. We offer visiting lectures and workshops as well.
Do you customize your training programmes?
Yes, all training programmes are customised to suit organisational requirements. In fact that’s our greatest strength. We do extensive pre-work to ascertain the client’s requirement and then offer follow up sessions to reinforce transfer of learnings from our camp site to your work place.
What adventure activities are available?
We offer a diverse range of activities, including white-water rafting, hot-air balloon rides, rock-climbing, trekking and para-sailing. Some activities require suitable weather and some need minimum numbers. To know which activities will be available at the time of your visit, simply drop us a mail, and we will let you know.
What kind of activities can we participate in?
Traveller Birds offers a huge range of activities to choose from. You can write to us with details of your group size and interests and we can suggest an existing package or custom design something for you.
What measures do you have in place to ensure safety of the participants?
Safety and Security are given a very high priority at EMPOWER. We use the highest quality of certified equipment, highly qualified and experienced instructors, and have stringent rules and processes that participants need to follow. There is no compromise on this.
Can I book my own air tickets and join your tour?
Yes, you can and we can assist you for Air tickets also if required.

If I book my own railway /air tickets, do I have to submit a copy to Traveller Birds?
Yes. You should submit a copy of ticket to us if you have booked it by your own.
How to book ?
You have to fill all mandatory fields in the form & submit it then you will receive a mail from our executive with flight & fare details then reconfirm to book the same & after receiving payment we will issue the ticket.
Will I get my ticket via email after it is booked?
Yes, you will get your e-ticket copy immediately on your mail ID for all the domestic flights while the confirmation for the international flights will be emailed to you within one hour of the booking.
Can I book and hold a reservation, and pay later?
No. Holding the reservation is not possible; however you can write/call our customer care for your queries.
How do I know my reservation is successful?
We’ll send an email confirmation with the ticket.
Do I need to confirm my flight reservation before I fly?
No, you don’t. If you really want to, though, you can by writing to our Customer Support Team at customersupport@travellerbirds.com or by contacting the airline directly.
How do I get my e–ticket details?
We’ll send your e–ticket details to the email address you gave us when you made your reservation.
What if my paper tickets are lost or stolen?
If this happens, email us immediately and we’ll help you process a lost ticket application. In most cases, the airline will require you to purchase replacement tickets at “today’s” fare, meaning that day’s current published fares. Our travel specialist will facilitate the sale of these tickets.

If your original paper tickets aren’t used within a designated period of time (usually 3–4 months, depending on the airline), you’ll receive a credit for the purchase price of the replacement tickets, after deducting an application fee (which, again, varies by airline). Of course, these policies and fees are subject to change at any time – ask our travel specialist for the most recent information for your airline’s replacement ticket rules and policies. We’re bound by these rules, so we strongly suggest you keep your paper tickets safe to begin with.

I misspelled my name while booking a ticket. How do I get it changed?
You can call us to check if the airline you’ve booked with entertains change–of–name requests. Most of them do, and we can pass on your request. However, if the airline doesn’t allow it, you’ll have to cancel and re–book the ticket.
How do I cancel a flight reservation?
You need to call/write to us minimum 8 hours prior to departure.
The flight I booked was cancelled by the airline. How do I get my money back?
If the flight you booked got cancelled, you are entitled to a full refund, in most cases.
We request you to cancel your booking online first, by following the steps outlined here.
Once you have done this, please send an email to customersupport@Travellerbirds.comalong with your Trip ID and if you mention that your flight was cancelled, we will then take it up with the respective airline and process your refund accordingly.
What are the cancellation charges?
Short answer – it depends. Long answer – the cancellation charges depend on the airline, sector, class of booking, and time of cancellation. To know what’s applicable in your case, check the fare rules mentioned on the booking page when you’re making your reservation (in case you missed it then, you can always go back to your Traveller birds Account and check out your trips pages). Apart from the cancellation charges levied by the airline, Traveller birds charges a cancellation fee of Rs 250 per passenger per sector.If Cancellation is done through the customer support executives assistance, we will levy Rs. 500 per passenger per flight.
If I need to cancel my flight, what’s the latest I can do this by?
With Traveller birds, you can cancel your flight no later than 3 hours before the time of departure. If you need to cancel your reservation within 3 hours of the departure you need to contact the airline directly for cancellation and only then contact us.
How will I get my money back after a cancellation?
We will credit the money back to the same account you used while making the booking. For example, if you used your credit card, we will make an appropriate charge reversal. If you used your debit card, we will credit the money back to the debit card.
How long does it take to process a refund?
We usually process the refund within 4 working days of cancellation. However, it may take slightly longer to reflect in your account statement depending upon your bank. We’ve noticed that it takes about 14 working days for most refunds to hit their respective accounts.

I Still Haven’t Received My Refund. Help!

I booked my flights on Traveller birds but then cancelled them by directly contacting the airline. How do I claim my refund?
We strongly recommend that you let us know immediately after cancellation directly with the airline. Depending on your bank, the refund generally takes 4 to 15 days (from the day we find out about the cancellation) to get processed. In cases such as no–show or flight cancellation, the refund process can take more than three weeks too.
The airline I booked has suspended its operations. How do I claim my refund?
You need to write to us on customersupport@travellerbirds.com and provide your Reference no./PNR along with airline details. We will follow up for refunds with the airline.

As soon as the airline refunds us, we will reverse your refund amount to the mode of payment that was used while booking.
What is an Amendment?
An amendment is a fancy word for a change in your travel plan. You can change the date or time (or both) of your travel; you cannot, however, change the sector(s) on which you’re already booked. For example, if you’re booked on a flight from Mumbai to New Delhi, you can’t change your destination to Goa.

Please note that airline changes are not allowed in case of amendments. However, you can cancel your existing reservation and re-book a different airline of your choice online.
How do I make changes to a flight reservation?
You can either mail us with change requestor you can call us.
What does it cost to make an amendment?
All amendments come at a fee that varies from airline to airline. In addition to this fee, Traveller birds charges an amendment handling fee of Rs 400 per passenger per sector. We’ll collect these charges from you when we make the changes to your travel plans. We’ll also collect the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made.
How do I get my ticket(s) after an amendment?
We’ll Email your Amended Tickets to the Email Address you used for the Original Booking.
Can I cancel my tickets after an amendment?
Yes, but do not cancel from your Traveller birds Account, call customer support and cancel the same. If you have amended your journey with us or the airline then please cancel your trip 3 hrs before your amended travel date and time.
Can I book Tatkal ticket for anyone else?
Yes you can but then you'd need to carry the person's ID card and Photostat of it at the reservation counter. At online IRCTC portal you'd need to key-in that person's ID card number.
How many days before can I book Tatkal ticket?
One day before. But this is not correct. It means Tatkal quota opens at 1 day before the train start from the first station. NOT FROM YOUR SOURCE STATION!
I've lost my ticket can I get a duplicate?
Under exceptional cases Railways does allow you to get a duplicate but total charges will need to be paid in full. That means you should go to RPF and file complaint of loss of purse along with ticket. Then you can make a request for duplicate ticket.
I want to cancel Tatkal ticket, is it possible?
Yes, you can but total money you'll get back is Rs. 0(zero). At the same time, Indian Railways will give your ticket to other wait-listed person
I see Wait list 2 in Tatkal quota, will it get it confirmed if I book it?
Tatkal quota is independent and is not mixed with VIP quota or the quota for normal tickets. There are still a few ignorant people you try to cancel their Tatkal ticket expecting refund (I also was once fooled). So there is no harm in booking in Tatkal wait-list but getting confirmation chances depending on ignorant people cancelling their tickets. Remember you're entitled for full refund of Wait-listed Tatkal tickets.
What are the ID Cards accepted for booking Tatkal Tickets?
Here are the list of ID Cards:

My son is 7 years old, will he need ticket and also I don't have his ID Card?
Yes you need ticket for those having age of 5 years or more. You can use his School ID card and it may be required if booked using his ID.
How many days in advance can I reserve my ticket?
You can reserve your ticket 120 days in advance, excluding the date of journey at the train Originating station. At intermediate stations where the train arrives the following day, Reservation can be done 120 days in advance. In the case of some intercity day express trains, the advance reservation period is less.
How do I know the reservation status of my ticket?
The reservation status will be clearly indicated in your ticket. If your ticket is confirmed, your coach and berth numbers will be mentioned on your ticket in all classes other than First Class and AC First Class. For these, the word “Confirmed” will be printed alongside the class of travel. If your ticket is in RAC (Reservation against Cancellation)/Waitlisted status, the same will be mentioned on the ticket.
What are the modes of travel on tour?
The modes of travel depend upon the tour which you book. Generally, we travel by Flight, Coach, Train, etc as mentioned in the itinerary. For more information refer respective tour itinerary page on
Are there any night journeys on tour?
We avoid travelling in night but if required we do so.
How hectic is the pace of the tours?
We have a wide range of products which are designed as leisurely paced to medium paced to fast. Most of the tours are medium to fast pace as we cover maximum must see sight-seeings, we do not have optional sight-seeings.
Do we have to walk a lot on tours?
Generally, we have to walk at sightseeing places, amusement parks and at the airports sometimes for a long distance, however the same will be timely instructed by the Tour Leader.
Do we have to wake up early on tours?
Depend on Roads, Destinations and Situations.
Do we get wake-up calls on tours?
Yes, you do get telephonic wake up call through the hotel automated system or manual, however it is advisable to have your mobile alarms set to be on the safer side.
What if I Reach late and miss a part of the tour?
Punctuality is of utmost importance when traveling in group. We do not want you to miss any part of the tour so please be on time and always follow the Tour Leader's instructions. In case, you miss any part of the tour, we are not responsible/liable and no refund shall be given to you in this regard.
What assistance is provided to a disabled person or a senior citizen, who needs special assistance on tour?
A qualified companion must accompany the guest who needs such special assistance as individual assistance cannot be given to such guest by the Tour Leader considering he has to manage the entire group.
Will I get some time for my-self on the tour?
Group Tour Itineraries are designed and planned in such a way that you should get to see maximum places, so you will get time only when you are back at the hotel. However, if you wish to skip any sightseeing, then you have to inform the Tour Leader accordingly, but you shall not get any refund for such services which you have not availed at your own discretion.

Yes, your relative is always welcome. She/he can join us on tour subject to your intimation to us at the time of your booking and payment of prescribed charges to make him / her eligible to join our tour and avail our services on tour.
Will Traveller Birds recommend me where to shop on a tour?
Our Tour Leader will provide information about the shopping areas on tour, however She/He will not suggest/Recommend/Promote any Particular Shop, area etc. to you.
Can I use my credit card for shopping / personal expense while on an International tour?
Yes, you can use Internationally accepted Credit cards for shopping and personal expenses but kindly cross check with your Bank before effecting any transaction. We are not responsible/liable for any loss, fraud, damage, cheating etc., if any, occurs in such cases.
What assistance is provided, if I dis-continue the scheduled tour, on account of illness?
If you fall sick on tour, kindly inform the Tour Leader immediately. The Tour Leader will assist you in making all arrangements for the medical aid, doctor on call etc. However, the expenses will have to be borne by you. Here, Insurance plays a major role hence we highly recommend that you should get yourself and your family insured adequately before travel.

Does the Tour Leader assist us on the entire tour?
Yes, the tour leader will assist you throughout the tour. However, they are not responsible for baggage or any kind of personal belongings.
Generally how many Tour Leaders are allotted to a group tour?
We have 1 Tour Leader for the entire group where as for Indian Tours, 1 Tour Leader with 1 or 2 Tour Assistant depending upon group size.
How many days prior to the tour should I do the booking?

What are the documents required to book a tour?

After paying once, will I get refund of the tour cost?
In case of cancellation of your tour by the Company, you will get the refund of actual amount paid by you. But if you cancel the tour, the cancellation charges will be applicable as per the Terms & Condition.
Can I transfer my Refund amount to any other tour or to my friend's or relative's tour?
No.
Is my refund amount adjustable against any part - cancellation?
No, the refund amount is not adjustable against part cancellation.
How much time does it usually take to process a refund?
Ideally, it takes 6-7 working days to process refunds, once the guest agrees on refund amount.
What is the mode of payment in case of refund?
You will receive refund amount in bank account of tour participant.

Guests are specially requested to read the terms and conditions as mentioned on the website/brochure and booking form. It shall be presumed that the guest has read/understood and accepted all the terms and conditions and accepted the same.
